Global business seminar planned for Paraguay 2009

Previous | Next

A two-day seminar for global Mennonite businesspeople will coincide with the 2009 Mennonite World Conference Assembly in Paraguay.

The invitation-only event is scheduled for the two days prior to the July 14–19 Assembly, and five delegates each from Latin America, Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America, as well as five from the host country, Paraguay, will be chosen to attend the MEDA (Mennonite Economic Development Associates) sponsored talks.

The program is expected to have four components: how faith influences business, business opportunities in a shifting global economy, business as salt and light, and how business can address poverty.

Those interested should contact Good by March 30, 2008.
