Previous | Next

Ken Reddig, director of the Centre for MB Studies, has announced his retirement, effective June 2008. Reddig, renowned for passionately relating stories of people’s lives and God’s love and faithfulness throughout the years, served with the Centre as director from 1979 to 1990 and returned in 2005 to replace Heinrich Loewen.

A stalwart presence and friend to many, Ken Reddig says this really is his last retirement.

A stalwart presence and friend to many, Ken Reddig says this really is his last retirement.

Reddig previously worked for Mennonite Central Committee Canada as major gifts and planned giving coordinator, the Provincial Archives of Manitoba, and the Manitoba Heritage Centre, and has also served as chair of the Mennonite Historical Society of Canada.

The Centre for MB Studies holds and preserves collections of historical records for the MB conference and also serves students, congregations, institutions, and other individuals and groups in research, writings, and commemorations.

“Reddig has served his position and ministry well, ” says Cam Rowland, director of communications for the Canadian conference. “We wish him all the best in retirement.”
