Jericho Ridge sees membership boom

Previous | Next

Not every church can hold a membership Sunday where people join by the dozens. But that’s what happened Dec. 9 in North Langley, B.C. Some 60 people were accepted into membership at Jericho Ridge MB Church, four by baptism. Jericho Ridge was nurtured as a satellite church of North Langley Community, and became an independent church April 29. Members formally transferred in December, and Brad Sumner, who had planted the church as a member of North Langley’s staff, continues as pastor of Jericho Ridge. At two and a half, the church already has a weekly attendance of 150 at a secondary school gym.
