On Aug. 8, Aaron Barrington began a full-time role as music and youth pastor at Northside Community Church, Mission, B.C. He previously served as associate pastor of worship and youth at River Park Church, Medicine Hat, Alta. Aaron and his wife Cynthia have a six-month-old daughter, Samantha.

In November, Ronald Toews was appointed to the combined position of principal for ACTS seminaries and associate vice president of graduate theological studies by Trinity Western University (TWU), Langley, B.C. Toews brings a rich background in leadership, academia, and public speaking. In 2002, Toews began working as assistant professor of leadership studies at the MB Biblical Seminary of ACTS, where he taught more than 25 courses at the graduate level. “His organizational insights will help us to build stronger university and seminary ties and inform our progress toward the adoption of policy governance,” said TWU provost Dennis Jameson.

This fall, Ken Sperling began serving as lead pastor at Christian Fellowship Church, Lucky Lake, Sask., where he formerly pastored from 1976–1980. Ken and his wife Dawn have 5 grown children.
