Christian Press wins environmental stewardship award

Previous | Next

Christian Press, a non-profit agency of the Canadian MB conference, received the environmental award for western Canada from Agfa. Their new plate-making machine uses no waste chemicals or water, they recycle more than 35 tons of paper and one ton of aluminum each year, use no developers, and all solvents are sent to an environmental control company for safe disposal. Christian Press uses only vegetable-based ink, encourages customers to use recycled paper, and uses the most environmentally friendly cleaners.
