Getting the boot

Previous | Next

Murrayville Community Church in Langley, B.C. has given 44 out of nearly 100 congregants “the boot” in the last 10 months.

They were sent out of the church to build a daycamp in Mexico (M2M07.blogspot.comOutside link), teach English in Taiwan (emanky.blogspot.comOutside link), and treat traumatic injuries (leneonthelord.blogspot.comOutside link). At departure, each group was given the same white shoe with Isaiah’s words: “How lovely on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news.”
