New stewardship representative hired

Previous | Next

The Canadian Conference of MB Churches’ Stewardship Ministries welcomed Ben Wohlgemut Mar. 1 as stewardship representative for Ontario. A graduate of MBBS (Fresno, Cal.), Wohlgemut recently served as administrator of Tabor Manor in St. Catharines. From 1982 to 2000, he was a faculty member at Bethany Bible Institute, Hepburn, Sask., where he held various roles including instructor, student ministries director, registrar, and academic dean. He is a member of Fairview Church, St. Catharines, serving on the board of elders and as a small group leader. He and his wife Margaret Anne have 4 grown children.

Wohlgemut is thrilled about his new role, saying, “I see Christian stewardship closely related to spirituality, both as an indicator and a by-product. I look forward to partnering with pastors and churches in giving this issue the attention it deserves.” Wohlgemut replaces Henry Neufeld, who retired in December.
