On Nov. 1 Claude Pratte joined Family Life Network (FLN) as full-time director of church and donor relations. For the past 7 years, Claude was senior pastor at Portage Avenue Church, Winnipeg. Earlier, he pastored in Ontario and Quebec. He served on FLN’s board from 2000–2003 and was board chair for 2 of those years. Claude has been married to Vivian for 33 years and they have 3 adult sons.
A.J. Poettcker retired from ministry after 16 years at Lakeview Bible Church, Lethbridge, Alta. on Oct. 29. A.J. and his wife Evonne are pursuing new endeavours.
Lakeview Community Church, Killarney, Man. welcomed a new youth pastor, Mark Richmond. He is a graduate of Briercrest Bible College. Mark and his wife Andrea have 4 children, Emma Grace (6), Ethan (4), Eliyanna (3), and Elijah (1).
Terry Dueck began as pastor of outreach ministries at Winkler (Man.) MB Church Sept. 17. He previously served at Sterling Mennonite Fellowship, Winnipeg. He is married to Julia and they have a newborn daughter, Keziah.
At the beginning of October, Paul Woods began ministry as campus pastor at Willow Park Highway 33, Kelowna, B.C. For the past 4 years, Paul served as associate pastor for adult ministries at Willingdon Church, Burnaby, B.C. He has also worked as a regional representative for Stewardship Ministries. He and Melodie have 3 sons and 2 grandchildren.
