Merlin Enns joined the pastoral team of Lendrum MB Church, Edmonton, as associate pastor August 1. He has just completed MDiv studies at MB Biblical Seminary in Fresno, Cal., where he also served with One by One Leadership. Earlier he worked with MCC Supportive Care Services in Abbotsford, B.C. and was youth pastor at Richmond Park MB Church, Brandon. He is married to Alissa, who earlier served with Campus Crusade for Christ; they have 1 daughter, Ella.

Chris Friesen, who served Lendrum MB Church, Edmonton, as associate pastor, is pursuing his aspirations as a writer. He and Louise and their 4 children continue to share in the lay ministry of the church.



An installation service for Ross and Ann-Margaret Kennedy, formerly of Hawkesville, Ont. (see Transitions, Sept. 1) was held Aug. 13 at Woodrow Gospel Chapel. They are pictured with Saskatchewan conference minister Ralph Gliege.

As of June, Terry Sawatsky is associate pastor of Elmwood MB Church, Winnipeg. Previously he worked in Nunavut as a social worker, and with the Africa department of Mennonite Central Committee (in Akron, Pa., in Africa, and in Winnipeg) for 9 years. He is married to Cathy Hodder, who teaches French at Mennonite Brethren Collegiate Institute. They have 1 daughter, Tamar.

Lorraine Dick will conclude her ministry at South Langley (B.C.) MB Church on Dec. 31, after serving 12 years as associate pastor. She was previously at Waterloo (Ont.) MB Church and is seeking further ministry opportunities.
