Terence Hoorman is the new student ministry pastor at Eastview Community Church, Winnipeg. He has been youth pastor at McIvor Ave. MB Church, Winnipeg since March 2000 and before that worked as a chef. He and Mia have 2 young children, Aria and Miles.

Two Manitoba MB churches have appointed interim pastors. Retired pastor Sieg Wall will be serving North Kildonan MB Church, Winnipeg. He earlier pastored at Jubilee Mennonite Church in Winnipeg, Restigouche Valley MB Church in Campbellton, N.B., and The Church at Pine Ridge near Winnipeg. He is married to Teenie.

Abe Block will be serving Westside Community Church, Morden. He has filled a number of interim pastorates in Alberta recently, and earlier pastored in Lethbridge, Alta. and Hepburn, Sask., as well as singing in the Messengers Quartet. He is married to Maggie.

The church plant at Terrebonne, Quebec, under the leadership of Patrice Nagant, has grown to some 40 people in the core group. They recently chose a church name, l’Intersection, with the subtitle “the Christian Church of Terrebonne-les-Moulins.”

Ross Kennedy began as pastor of Woodrow (Sask.) Gospel Chapel mid-July. He and Ann-Margaret, with their children Brendon, 6, and Cayden, 3, moved from Ontario, where he was worship leader at Hawkesville Mennonite Church and a counsellor for an interfaith counselling service. He has a master’s degree in religious education from Trinity Western University, Langley, B.C.
