Christine Longhurst has resigned as pastor of worship at River East MB Church, Winnipeg, effective June 30, after serving 10 years. She is completing a doctorate in worship studies from Robert Webber’s Institute for Worship Studies, and has been named the new chapel coordinator at Canadian Mennonite University, Winnipeg. She and John have 2 children.

Geoff Neufeld has submitted his resignation as executive director for the B.C. MB conference’s Board of Church Extension, a position he has held since 2002. He has agreed to stay until fall or whenever a new director is found. He and Brenda and their 2 children live in Kelowna, B.C.

George Klassen has resigned as lead pastor of North Kildonan MB Church, Winnipeg, effective Aug. 31, after serving six-and-a-half years. He and Eileen have 3 grown children.

The board of Simonhouse Bible Camp, Cranberry Portage, Man. wishes to express appreciation to Lloyd and Kathy Penner of Winnipeg for overseeing the building of the new camp centre. Board chair Scott Koop writes, “They gave sacrificially of their time and talents, blessed us with their smiles and positive attitudes, and served us far beyond the building of a facility. We are immensely grateful to them and thank God for them.”

The Herbert (Sask.) MB Church has changed its name to Living Springs Community Church.
