Gathering 2006 prayer corner

Mennonite Brethren churches across Canada are asked to unite in prayer for Gathering 2006. The goal is to shift the focus from us to God, and to pray very simply for the ministry-shaping decisions of the Canadian Conference of MB Churches.

Please join us as we pray for Gathering 2006:

• The vision for Gathering 2006 is to create a space for God to speak to us and for community to happen. Ask God to guide those who are planning and all who are part of the program.
• Pray for the details that must be finalized and for the University of Calgary as we stay on campus.
• Pray for safety as people travel.
• Pray for volunteers – that people will feel God’s call to serve at Gathering 2006.
• Pray that we will represent our MB churches well while we are in Calgary.
• Pray that the BFL resolution on women in ministry leadership discussion will be God-honouring, reflecting charity, humility, and mutual respect.
• Pray that delegates and guests will catch the vision of our conference and be eager to bring it home to their churches and communities.
