I’m thankful for the artistic abilities that have fuelled my life with passion. They have given me a wonderful connection and insight to my God, the Master Artist, my true inspiration. No matter what the painting’s subject matter, the process of creating a piece of art is a spiritual journey. I love how Dorothy Sayers puts it: “It’s a beautiful thing when we let ourselves be creative, and the Spirit of God and our humanity work together to create beauty.”

God has also created numerous opportunities for me to involve others in the intimacy of my artwork. I have painted at worship conferences, churches, universities, and TV shows. The brush strokes become part of a collective worship experience. The experience of art in worship is incredible, fresh, and awe-inspiring each time. I’ve been privileged to see how God speaks through me, and how others are moved by this powerful expression of faith.
