Make your move

Gathering is also for youth (12–18 years)

Make Your Move is a weekend of moving about Calgary, exploring street ministries and recreational attractions, making new friends, and building lifelong memories with other youth from all across Canada. We’ll be moving with Calgary’s Stampede frenzy, with the homeless in the inner city, with momentum at Canada’s Olympic Park, and in worship as we “look for him and reach out and find him. He isn’t far from any of us, and he gives us the power to live, to move, and to be who we are.” (Acts 17:27–28). The Canadian Conference invites all youth ages 12 to 18 to Make Your Move at Gathering 2006.

Urban Plunge

Friday, July 7 (late night)

Gathering 2006 delegates are invited to an evening of risk-taking obedience on the streets of Calgary following the Friday night session. A variety of urban plunge experiences are being planned to put your faith into action. Whether you are an avid walker or prefer to sit and visit there will be an option suited to your gifts and abilities. Allow God to stretch your comfort zone and stretch the kingdom as you pray in new ways, serve a cup of hot-chocolate, or help with a drop-in centre. For many of us, simply riding the C-Train from Gathering to the city centre will be a cross-cultural experience in which to discover Jesus in new ways.

For more information see Gathering 2006 or call 1-888-669-6575.
