Bob Roberts is founder and senior pastor of NorthWood Church in Dallas, Texas. Early in ministry, after his growing church declined rapidly, Bob became fully connected with the sufficiency of Christ in his life. Since 1985 NorthWood’s membership has grown to over 2,500 and they have planted some 89 churches in the U.S.
God has also led Bob and NorthWood to amazing contacts in other countries, where they have been instrumental in building schools, clinics and hospitals. Their vision for both local and global mission led them to coin the term “glocal” ministry. Bob will speak on principles of transformation at a workshop and our opening evening coffeehouse Thursday, July 6.

Tim Geddert, professor of Bible at MB Biblical Seminary, grew up in a “Bible School family” (his father taught in a Bible School for 40 years) and learned as a child to value Scripture, learn its contents and anticipate a ministry of teaching the Word to others. He brings to his teaching a wide variety of experiences that give him insight into God’s work around the world: church planting and pastoral leadership in Canada, short-term mission experiences on three continents, immersion into Scottish culture and church life during doctoral studies, and educational and pastoral ministry in Germany. Tim has written books or articles on Mark’s Gospel, biblical interpretation, ecclesiology and ethics. He has also produced several cookbooks. Tim will provide Bible studies on “kingdom” during our Friday and Saturday morning sessions.
