New appointment at MBBS

Previous | Next

David Rose has been appointed associate professor in the marriage, family and child counselling program at MB Biblical Seminary, Fresno, effective June 1, filling a 2-year vacancy at the Fresno, Cal. campus.

“David is no stranger to any of us, having served as an adjunct faculty member and anchor for our practicum classes for the last 10 years,” says MBBS president Jim Holm. “He brings a rich experience of counselling and teaching into our setting.”

Rose has an MDiv from Fuller Theological Seminary and a PhD from the California School of Professional Psychology. For the past three-and-a-half years he has been clinical supervisor at Alliant International University in Fresno.

Along with his private counselling practice, Rose keeps busy serving on the board of directors for Jews for Jesus and as president of the western region of the Christian Association for Psychological Studies. At MBBS, he will teach courses in ethics, practicum and integrating theology into counselling.

David and his wife Mary have two sons and two granddaughters. They attend Westminster Presbyterian Church in Fresno where he is parish associate minister.
