From Anabaptist Seed released in 2 more languages

Previous | Next

New translations of From Anabaptist Seed by C. Arnold Snyder have been released in Italian and Telegu. The small book’s presentation of basic Anabaptist identity and faith, first released in English in 1999, has become a popular choice for study groups around the world.

The Jadcherla Centenary Mennonite Brethren Church in India released the book on Nov. 6. This first publication of the MB Historical Commission in India was made possible by the generosity of “an Indian Mennonite brother who lives in the U.S.”

Francisco Picone, president of the Italian Mennonite Conference, presented a copy of the new release in Italian to Larry Miller, Mennonite World Conference executive secretary, in December.

From Anabaptist Seed: The Historical Core of Anabaptist-Related Identity was commissioned by MWC. It was first released in English in 1999, and is now available in 13 languages. The book was the first selection for MWC’s Anabaptist/Mennonite Shelf of Literature, inaugurated in 2002.
