Just in time for the holiday season, Sherinne Cropley has released a new CD called “The Promise of Christmas,” a soothing compilation of traditional carols and new favourites, with the singer accompanied by simple keyboards and guitar. Cropley has been a member of Central Heights (MB) Church in Abbotsford since 1981 and desires to glorify God through her music. For more information, contact Sherinne Cropley.

TalkingBibleDolls.comOutside link is offering the latest in its chatty product line, a queen Esther doll. These toys have become popular collectibles with parents and Christian educators, allowing children to hear Scripture verses at the press of a heart-shaped button and providing biblical role models for young people.

Rhubarb magazine, a Canadian publication featuring artists of Mennonite heritage, descent or interest, is announcing a special issue titled “Words from the West Coast.” Several B.C. MB writers are showcased in this fall 2005 issue. For excerpts, see the Rhubarb websiteOutside link.
