Winnipeg, Man.

Previous | Next

David Leung has joined the Stewardship Ministries of the Canadian Mennonite Brethren Conference, on a part-time basis, as of May 1, as a representative for the British Columbia region, with special emphasis on the Chinese community.

Leung was born in Hong Kong and educated in the U.S. He holds BSc and MBA degrees from the University of Minnesota. He is a chartered accountant and a certified management consultant.

He has spent 25 years in business consulting and in the information technology sector.

Leung and his wife Ruth are members of Richmond Chinese MB Church where he has served as Sunday school teacher, youth fellowship counsellor, and as moderator. They have two teenage children.

He will work with our other B.C. stewardship representatives to make our programs and resources more easily available and to strengthen the bond with our Chinese brothers and sisters.

The Chinese churches have identified a need for teaching and equipping young adults to apply biblical principles to their choices and the use of their gifts and resources. Leung has a passion to use his personal and career experience in this area.
