Phil Kaethler has been appointed executive pastor, effective June 1, in Eastview Community Church, Winnipeg. He will be responsible for visioning, administration and some teaching.

Trish Koslowsky, formerly children’s ministry director at Eastview Community Church, Winnipeg, has been appointed equipping director, a new position. She will direct all equipping efforts within the church as well as oversee ministry to those 25 years of age and younger.

Ron Loeppky has been appointed interim director of Mennonite Central Committee Manitoba until a new executive director is appointed. He replaces Daniel Lepp Friesen who tendered his resignation in February.

Dan Nighswander, general secretary of Mennonite Church Canada, has announced his resignation, effective May 31, 2006. The last six months will be a sabbatical during which he will work on writing the Believers Church Bible Commentary on 1 Corinthians.

Rick Marzolf has resigned as worship pastor at Panorama Community Church, Surrey, B.C. He has served since 1996 and is currently working in a family public relations business.

Matt and Cristina Unruh were commissioned to ministry at Panorama Community Church, Surrey, B.C., Matt as pastor of worship arts and Cristina as worship arts administrator. They both have BA degrees from Columbia Bible College, Abbotsford.
