Jim and Daniela Evans have accepted the position of lead pastor couple at Orchard Park Bible Church, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ont., effective Jan. 16. Jim previously served as lead pastor at The Meadows Church in Mississauga for 9 years. Daniela is a nurse. They have 3 children, Jessica, 13, Jennifer, 11 and Jonathan, 9.

Randy and Myrna Chase have resigned from their pastoral ministry at Woodrow (Sask.) Gospel Chapel, effective May 29.

Workneh Mogesse has resigned as pastor of Ethiopian Evangelical Church, Calgary.

Thirty-four workers participated in orientation at Mennonite Central Committee offices in Akron, Pa. Jan. 18–Feb. 1. Erin Constable, a member of The Pool, Moncton, N.B., is beginning a 2-year assignment as New Hope project coordinator in Moncton. Barb Brown of River West MB Church, Edmonton is beginning a 2-year assignment as thrift shop manager in Edmonton. Kaye Migchelsen, a member of Gateway Community Church, Lower Sackville, N.S. will be food bank coordinator in Lower Sackville. Jennifer White of Waterloo (Ont.) MB Church is the new coordinator of Circle of Friends in Kitchener, Ont.

Jack and Rose To have resigned from pastoral responsibilities at Mountainview Grace Church in Calgary.

Peter Warkentin has joined the staff of Southridge Community Church, St. Catharines as Pastor of Serving Others. Responsibilities include reaching out both regionally and globally through Eden High School, Tabor Manor, Out of the Cold and other ministries.

Eldon and Myrna DeFehr have resigned, effective May 31, from pastoral ministry in Clearbrook MB Church, Abbotsford, B.C.



A commissioning service for Paul and Edna Cairns who began pastoral responsibility for Tofield (Alta.) Gospel Church was held Nov. 28. They have 3 daughters, Elizabeth, Paula and Cherylynn. Paul has previously served with Disciple Making International, Venture Teams International and Transport for Christ.
