Parents and grandparents were warned about the ten most violent video games in a list released by the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility (ICCR) Nov. 23. ICCR called upon retailers to stop selling these games to youths and urged video game makers to offer more than “blood-soaked, anti-social” content. The list includes (in alphabetical order): Doom 3; Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas; Gunslinger Girls; Half Life; Halo 2; Hitman: Blood Money (releases in 2005); Manhunt; Mortal Combat: Deception; Postal 2; and Shadow Heart. The list extends to all earlier versions of the problem games.
