Robert Bell

Robert Bell

Robert Bell has been hired on a part-time basis as stewardship ministries representative for the Canadian MB Conference, for the Manitoba region. He began his duties October 12.

Bell was born and raised in Scotland. After immigrating to Canada in his mid-teens, he tried a variety of endeavours before entering the field of banking. He spent many years with the Royal Bank, initially in Ontario and then in Winnipeg. Subsequently he served with United Way of Winnipeg for nearly three years. After working on an MA as a part-time student, he graduated from Providence Theological Seminary April 2004.

Married for over 37 years to Sandy, the Bells have two married children and five grandsons. Bell has been involved in teaching Bible classes, serving on boards, pulpit supply ministry, and as an interim pastor with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. They attend Westwood Community Church, Winnipeg.

We welcome Robert Bell to the stewardship ministries team. He has a love for the Lord and people, and a passion to help others in their faith journey. His practical knowledge, ministry experience and skill in financial matters have prepared him well to serve in this position.

Bell will be working with Alf Huebert, stewardship ministries director, out of the Canadian Conference office, Winnipeg. He will focus on church visitation.

—Alf Huebert
