The Church of International Villages in Brampton, Ont., where Dale Bauman was pastor, has closed its doors.

The new address for MBMS International is 302-32025 George Ferguson Way, Abbotsford, B.C. V2T 2K7. The phone number remains the same.

Leamington (Ont.) MB Church has changed its name to Meadow Brook Fellowship. Henry Regier is lead pastor.

Andrew Barton is the new pastor at Christian Fellowship Chapel in Orillia, Ont. He was most recently senior pastor at East Lynn (Ma.) Baptist Church. He has studied at Central Baptist Seminary in Toronto and is ordained with the American Southern Baptist conference. He and his wife Marlene have 2 daughters, Tiffany and Beth.

Theresa Guderian is interim associate pastor of worship at Elmwood MB Church, Winnipeg. She is in her 4th year at Canadian Mennonite University, finishing a Bachelor of Church Music degree. Her husband, Andrew Plett, graduated from CMU in April 2004.

Steinbach (Man.) MB Church commissioned Scott and Natalie Koop for ministry in Flin Flon (Man.) MB Church Aug. 22. They began their ministry in Flin Flon in September. Scott completed his BA at Steinbach Bible College recently. Pictured are pastor Abe Klassen, Scott Koop and Natalie Koop with their children Marissa and Spencer.

Jeff and Connie Peters were commissioned as senior pastor couple in Hepburn (Sask.) MB Church Aug. 29. Jeff was associate pastor in Hepburn from 1999–2002. He completed studies at MB Biblical Seminary in Fresno this spring. Pictured with Jeff and Connie are their children Jenna and Kenzie.

Of the 53 people participating in a SALT (Serving And Learning Together) orientation held at Mennonite Central Committee headquarters in Akron, Pa. Aug. 21–27 were 4 from MB churches in Canada. Cindy Low, a member of Living Hope Church, Saskatoon, is beginning a 1-year assignment in Thailand as a development team assistant. John Harback from Kitchener (Ont.) MB Church is beginning a 1-year assignment in Egypt, where he will work as an assistant at a retreat centre. Rachel Bremer, a member of Lakeview Bible Church, Lethbridge, Alta., begins a 1-year assignment in Bolivia as a daycare assistant. Rachel Vermeer, also of Lakeview Bible Church, will be in South Korea as an English and peace education teacher.
