TFK will headline youth convention concert

Previous | Next

Thousand Foot Krutch (TFK), the Toronto-based band voted an “up-and-comer who is ready to rock the world” by Radio and Records, will be the concert headline act at National Youth Convention (NYC’04), being held in Toronto Dec. 27–30. TFK’s latest album is Phenomenon.

Opening for TFK will be FM Static, whose first album “What Are You Waiting For?” is marked with loves, losses and growth as well as humour in the face of teen trials.

Starfield, composed of brothers Tim and Jon Neufeld on vocals and guitars, drummer John Andrews and bassist Shaun Huberts, will be leading in worship during the four sessions of the Dec. 27–30 convention and performing a worship concert December 29.

The speaker at NYC’04’s convention will be Dave Overholt, founding pastor of Church on the Rock, a youth targeted church in Hamilton, Ont. Overholt’s books include Reasons to Believe, a youth apologetic, and Soul Searching the Millennial Generation, a youth worker’s guide to teen work.

NYC’04 is the national youth convention of the Canadian Conference of MB Churches.
