NYC’04 prayer update

Previous | Next

As I write this, youth across Canada are getting ready to float dreamily through their summer holidays. Youth pastors are wrapping up programming, church picnics are filling up the parks and camps, crops are trying to grow, report cards are being hidden from parents. And while so many things are winding down, NYC registrations are coming in and youth groups are planning ahead, starting their fundraising. For those of us on prayer support (that means you and me) it’s cultivating season! It’s time to pray that God would lead all the youth and groups He is drawing to be a part of this conference December 27–30 to register. It’s time to pray that all of our hearts would be prepared for what the Spirit of God has in store. While the summer heats up, let it heat up your prayer life too. Let’s take our share in this conference for the Lord Jesus Christ.

Brad Huebert, prayer coordinator for NYC’04.
