NYC’04: This is going to be huge

Previous | Next

“This is going to be huge.” Those were the words reverberating in my head as the NYC’04 planning team and I explored the venues and vistas of downtown Toronto in anticipation of next year’s youth conference. Following the Canadian Conference Key City Initiatives from Calgary in 2002 to Toronto next Christmas opens up opportunities for growth and impact in mind-boggling ways.

First, it throws the financial doors wide open for eastern Canada to make this Youth Conference their own. Second, the possibilities for Urban Plunge experiences are mouth-watering, to say the least. We dream of larger numbers, of course and an event that’s bigger, better, more exciting, but most of all, deeper. Not just impact, but a catalytic reaction.

God is stirring the pot already, calling people to jump into the grand mix He is cooking up for us. And He is calling you to pray. Would you join us in that grave and joyous preparation for NYC’04? Thanks, I knew you would.

Brad Huebert, prayer coordinator for NYC’04.
