Urbana-Champaign, Illinois

Previous | Next

Eight participants in Charting Your Course, the second stage of Ministry Quest, together with their director John Neufeld, attended Urbana 2003, Intervarsity’s 20th student convention at the University of Illinois. They were among 19,000 students who spent five days worshipping in many different styles, hearing challenging speakers, studying Scripture, and praying together in small groups.

One participant reflected on the worship: “I thought to myself, ‘This is a small preview of what heaven is going to be like.’ ” Another said, “I really enjoyed meeting with my small group of girls . . . talking about God and praying freely.” One participant who heard about Inner City Impact for the first time is already ministering in Chicago.
