MBMS International searches for new director

Fresno, Calif.

Previous | Next

A search committee, chaired by MBMS International Board vice-chair Ike Bergen, began working in early January to find a replacement for general director Harold Ens. (See story MBH, Nov. 14.) Ens will move to a new role within the organization at the end of July 2004.

Other members of the search committee are: Joan Godard, MBMS International board member from Hepburn Sask; David Wiebe, executive director, Canadian MB Conference; Chuck Buller, executive director, US Conference; Nick Rempel, long-time pastor from Buhler, Kansas; Sara Fast, current seminary student and former missionary in Thailand; Phil Stangland, mission pastor, Laurelglen Bible Church, Bakersfield, Calif.

The Board invites the churches to pray for the search process. Anyone wishing to submit names or suggestions to the committee may send them to Ike Bergen. While there is some urgency about this process, the Board and committee are committed to seeking and following the leading of God in this important matter.

Dennis Fast, MBMS International Board Chair
