Speakers for Gathering 2004

We are pleased to announce four dynamic speakers who will reconcile our Conference mission – “healthy growing churches reaching their worlds” – with our Gathering theme of “refresh, renew, reach out.”

Randy Friesen is the Short Term Missions Director of Mennonite Brethren Mission and Service International. He will draw on his extensive ministry of spiritual renewal with young and older adults to challenge us to refresh our spiritual commitment.

Reggie McNeal is the author of Revolution in Leadership, A Work of Heart and more recently, The Present Future. An expert on leadership development in the church, Reggie’s humour and depth will inspire and equip us to renew ministry in our churches, communities and world.

Jacqueline Dugas, a French Canadian, serves as Director for the Centre of Prayer Mobilization of Every Home for Christ International. She is committed to the development of a Christ-centred spirituality that profoundly enables us to reach out and influence our world.

Willy Reimer is the lead pastor at Sunwest Christian Community (Mennonite Brethren) Church in south Calgary. He has planted a culturally relevant church through reaching out to friends and inviting them to follow Christ authentically. Willy serves as the Canadian Conference Assistant Moderator.
