According to Plugged In, Focus on the Family’s guide for parents and youth leaders on popular youth culture, teens and young adults now spend more time on the Internet than watching television. During an average week, 13-to 24-year-olds spend 16.7 hours on the Internet (not including e-mail) compared to 13.6 hours watching TV and 6 hours reading books and magazines.
