The Board of Discipleship Ministries and Jim Coggins have mutually agreed that Jim complete his service as editor of the Mennonite Brethren Herald, effective June 30, 2003. We wish to acknowledge his 19 years of faithful service in the capacities of Associate Editor, Interim Editor and Senior Editor. Jim has demonstrated a love for the Mennonite Brethren Church by seeking to challenge and encourage its members. During his tenure as Editor, the MB Herald has received many awards for excellence in journalism. Jim is to be commended for seeking excellence in all he has done. As a Board, we extend our best wishes to Jim and thank him for his long and faithful service to the church.

The Board of Discipleship Ministries is also pleased that Susan Brandt has accepted the invitation to serve as interim editor of the MB Herald effective immediately. We have every confidence in Susan and the ongoing ministry of the MB Herald.
