Schmidt recognized

Fresno, Calif.

Previous | Next

Henry Schmidt, outgoing president of MB Biblical Seminary, Fresno, was recognized for his many years of ministry at a dinner April 11. The dinner was held in conjunction with this year’s spring Board meeting. The evening was filled with testimonies, stories and presentations, each one highlighting a different aspect of Henry’s tenure at MBBS. Schmidt has served at the Seminary for 34 years, the last ten as president. He has given his knowledge, energy and leadership, and with his wife Elvera, has shown hospitality to the many guests who have come to visit the campus. Board chair Cal Bergen presented a plaque to Henry and Elvera to commemorate the evening.

Another plaque was presented to Schmidt at this year’s commencement exercises at ACTS Seminaries in Langley, B.C., of which MBBS is a partner. The plaque was presented by Dr. Phil Zylla, principal of ACTS Seminaries. The commencement exercises were held at Abbotsford Pentecostal Church on April 21.
