Previous | Next

The Board of Directors of Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary has announced the appointment of Jim Holm as interim president, effective June 16, 2003. Jim has been connected with the Fresno campus of the seminary in the capacity of Dean of Students and Director of Constituency Relations since 1997. The board has every confidence in Jim. He brings to this role a passionate love for Jesus and for the church; he is gifted in ways that will serve the mission of the Seminary well. Jim has the ability to relate well to, and address, the uniqueness of each of our campuses with a visionary and collegial leadership style.

Jim Holm is well known throughout the North American Mennonite Brethren constituency as a dynamic church leader and a gifted preacher. He is in the final stages of completing a Doctor of Ministry degree from Fuller Theological Seminary in the area of Spiritual Formation and Leadership Training. Jim and his wife, Shirley, live in Reedley, CA, where Shirley works as a public school teacher. They have two grown sons, and one granddaughter.

The Board of Directors invites the prayers and support of the seminary constituency for Jim and for MBBS.
