I sometimes wonder whether the Lord is really guiding in my life, answering prayers, etc. I don’t seem to receive the miraculous answers some people talk about, or specific directions for my life. However, when I stop to think about it, I find that I can see tiny (or large) correction nudges and as I have obeyed them, I have seen minute changes. Of course, because they are usually not large or very noticeable, it is easy to assume they don’t happen at all; however, on looking back, I can observe a change in attitude. Over time I have come to have a certain “gelassenheit”, a calmness and composure, because I know the Lord is in control and is helping me make the changes in my life that should happen.

This issue contains articles designed to help us keep in touch with God. Teresa Klassen writes about time spent with her father and Carlin Weinhauer challenges us to make the make the words of our lips and the thoughts of our hearts agree. We must be “honest to God” and honest with ourselves.
