EMI Christian has plans to offer “full ownership” downloads of popular Christian music. The online music service, which will be available by subscription, is planned for early 2002. Subscribers will be able to download songs and transfer them to CDs or portable music devices. Pricing for the service has not yet been determined. The service will include titles from several Christian labels, including BEC, EMI Gospel, ForeFront, Sparrow, Uprok and Worship Together.
