St. Catharines, Ont.
Father’s Love Letter comes to New Yorkers

Representatives from Father Heart Communications of St. Catharines, Ont., the distributor of the “Father’s Love Letter”, visited ground zero in New York City October 19–23.

Barry Adams and Peter Boychuck met with local pastors and ministry leaders to organize free distribution of the FLL resources. They distributed $63,000 worth of videos, CDs and cards.

Ground zero is the name of the site of the former World Trade Center Towers that were destroyed by terrorist attacks on the morning of Sept. 11.

“Father’s Love Letter” was created by Barry Adams, a former pastor at Westview Christian Fellowship, St. Catharines. It uses a variety of media, such as posters and cards, as well as CDs and videos complete with music, to explain how God loves people based on Bible verses.

Father Heart Communications received requests from various ministry groups dealing with people impacted by the Sept. 11 tragedy. In fact, it has set up a web site solely devoted to the victims of the New York tragedy at FatherLovesNewYork.com.

Posters, cards, videos and CDs of the “Father’s Love Letter” were shipped to an assistant chaplain working with those who lost loved ones in the Pentagon attack.

A thousand FLL videos and CDs were shipped to Lissa and Heather McCarthy, pastor couple of an Assembly of God congregation in Geneva, N.Y., for free distribution at ground zero. A group of pastors from New York City also handed out FLL materials to people.

The response has been overwhelming. Father Heart Communications hopes to send more materials to aid those affected by the attacks. More information about this project is available by contacting Father Heart Communications, 11 Acadia Crescent, St. Catharines, Ont. L2P 1H7 or e-mail Adams at barry@fathersloveletter.com.
