Winnipeg, Man.
New treasurer appointed

The Canadian MB Conference is pleased to announce the appointment of John Wiebe of Abbotsford, B.C. as the new Canadian Conference Treasurer.
Picture
He has served as Administrator of the B.C. Conference of MB Churches for the past nine years, and will move to Winnipeg to take up his new post this summer. He and his wife Linda are formerly from Winnipeg, so this will be a homecoming for them.

John is a professional accountant with experience in fund management, and also has a strong knowledge of the ministries of the MB Conferences. He is expecting to start work in August and asks for prayer during this time of transition.

The Wiebes have two children. Tim is a student at Steinbach (Man.) Bible College, and Leslie is graduating from grade 12 at Mennonite Educational Institute in Abbotsford this year.

Wiebe replaces Jake Neufeld, who is retiring this summer after serving for 14 years.
