NYC prayer bulletin

Guess what? NYC ’02 (That’s the National Youth Conference, formerly the Banff youth convention) has been slated for January 3-6, 2002. We’ve staked out our
Picture
spot (we’ll be invading the Telus Centre (Calgary’s Convention Centre) and plans are well underway to nail down gifted speakers, recreation options, bands, relevant topics, friendly hotels and everything in between. Lots to do! We need you to join us in the creative process by praying that God’s vision for this conference will be realized in a powerful way.

Our first call for prayer is an “atmospheric” one, asking that the Lord Jesus would guide us in creating the kind of environment in which the Holy Spirit can shape His new life. Pray for us  the planning team  as we try to cooperate with the Spirit in putting flesh on our skeleton of ideas. Then pray that God would breathe His life into the stuff we put together. We’ll be posting periodic prayer request updates here in the Herald and eventually on the NYC ’02 Web site (www.nyc02.com). Happy praying and thank you for your support!
