The theme of the exhibit was Inspired by hope: Glimpsing the unseen through the seen. The exhibit was held in conjunction with the Harrison Festival of the Arts. Six of the 15 artists were from the church.

During the 10-day festival, the church held two Sunday services focusing on Faith and Art. At the first service, pastor Ken Dueck spoke on faith in a talk entitled Seeing the unseen. The following Sunday, he spoke on hope in a talk entitled Anchored to hope while living in the between. Each service also featured a testimony by an artist.

The church holds the exhibit to inspire a greater appreciation for art among Christians, to allow non-Christians to consider their relationship with God and to help the unchurched feel more comfortable in church. Harrison Gospel Chapel
