Chuck Norris, star of the martial arts flavoured TV show “Walker, Texas Ranger” is a man of faith. “Real men do live for Christ,” the former world karate champion told New Man magazine. “It is important to make your peace with Christ while the opportunity exists. Life is so fragile that you never know when it’s going to be over. It could be over in the blink of an eye, and then it’s too late to accept God’s gift of salvation.” Raised in a church, Norris and his wife Gena have worked to make prayer a priority in their lives. “We train physically very hard. But you need to train your spirit  feed your spirit  more than your body,” he said.

Colorado’s State Board of Education is encouraging the state’s public schools to post the national motto “In God we trust” on school walls. The Board voted 5-1 on July 6 to approve a non-binding resolution encouraging the “appropriate display” of the motto in schools and other public buildings. “In God we trust” first appeared on US currency in 1864, printed on a two-cent piece. The US Congress confirmed the motto July 30, 1956, while acknowledging that the Latin phrase e pluribus unum (“out of many, one”) is also a national motto.
