CAMP GEMS
Jennifer’s story

Jennifer was a 13-year-old-girl from a broken home who came to Columbia Bible Camp in the summer of 1998. While at camp, Jennifer accepted Jesus as her Saviour.

When she returned home after camp, Jennifer informed her mom that she wished to attend church with her friend. Her mom decided she could drive her to church and wait in the car while Jennifer attended service. After waiting in the car for an-hour-and-a-half for a few Sundays, her mom decided she might as well go inside and see what her daughter was so excited about. It wasn’t long before Mom accepted Jesus as well.

Jennifer next decided to be baptized. Both her mom and her dad were there to witness the event. During the course of the next few weeks, her dad came to know the Lord, and on December 13, 1999 Mom and Dad were both baptized.

The family has been reunited and continue to grow in the Lord.

Jennifer has registered for the Leadership Training course at Columbia Bible Camp for summer 2000.
